Upcoming eBizguides: Syria (in Arabic: الجمهورية العربية السورية)

Syria holds the imprints of the world's oldest civilizations, and has always been in the centre of all Arab countries, through influence also known as "the big brother" some dating back to the fourth millennium BC.
Oil production has levelled off, but recent agreements allowing increased foreign investment in the petroleum sector may boost production in two to three years. Syrian cities boast both traditional industries such as weaving and dried-fruit packing and modern heavy industry. Thanks to sustained capital investment, infrastructure development, subsidies of inputs, and price supports, Syria has gone from a net importer of many agricultural products to an exporter of cotton, fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuffs.
eBizguides is coming soon with a profound analysis of all the economic and business sectors, as well as the top companies and institutions. It will provide practical information on doing business in the local market, and having fun in your spare time.

Travelling to Angola???: Here´s a list of the top things to do in Angola

Top Things To See & Do in Angola
•In the capital, Luanda, the main places to visit are the fortress (containing the Museum of Armed Forces) and the National Museum of Anthropology.
• The Humbi-Humbi art gallery, located at Largo Rainha Ginga 21, offers cultural delights.
• The Museum of Slavery, 25km (16 miles) along the coast from Luanda, offers an insight into the history of slavery.
• Luanda itself is built around a bay and there are bathing beaches (the Ilha beaches) five minutes from the centre of the city. Approximately 45km (28 miles) south of Luanda is Palmeirinhas, a long, deserted beach. The scenery is magnificent, but bathing here is hazardous. Fishing is possible both here and at Santiago beach, 45km (28 miles) north of Luanda. Watersports are available on the Mussolo Peninsula.
• The Kissama National Park lies 70km (45 miles) south of Luanda, and is home to a great variety of wild animals. Accommodation is available in bungalows located in the middle of the park, but visitors must bring their own food. The park is closed during the rainy season.
• The Calandula Waterfalls, located in the Malanje area, make an impressive spectacle, particularly at the end of the rainy season.
• Basketball remains a firm favourite, with Angola having won the African Basketball title on several occasions, attending the Olympics twice.

Other reasons to travel and invest in Africa

Excerpt of article published in moneyweek.com

Why invest in Africa? Despite the continent's structural problems and the relentless focus on aid and debt relief, Ghana's stockmarket was the world´s third-best performer last year, while Egypt topped the global table and is soaring this year too. In the long term, Africa´s best chance for prosperity and stability is not from dependency on foreign aid, but from sustained private investment and enterprise. As the continent becomes gradually more prosperous, levels of private investment are set to increase significantly, especially since (according to World Bank figures) Africa currently offers the highest returns on foreign direct investment of any region in the world.

How are Africa's economies doing? Currently, they are doing pretty well. Sub-Saharan Africa is experiencing its best economic performance in years, according to Goldman Sachs economists, who reckon gross domestic product growth could average 5% over the next decade, compared to less than 3% over the past 30 years.

So how do I find more information on these countries? To get to the main source of information you will need a specialized guide in business and tourism. eBizguides provides all you need to know to do business and have fun in Africa. Visit us and browse our complete guide collection and get yours right away!!!

Don´t forget these business travel tips

Travel better and safer by following these tips that eBizguides recommends:

Carry good bags. If your luggage can’t handle the rigors of the road, you are just wasting your money.
Carry on if you can. Carry-ons make flying so much easier. Everything you need is always within reach, you never risk losing your bags, and you save all that time at the baggage carousel. Size does matter. Carry-on bags must fit in the aircraft’s overhead compartment or underneath the seat in front of you.
Pack right. Several books detail good packing techniques. Use them. But first understand the basics. Always put your contact information and your itinerary inside your bag. (Putting this information on the outside of your bags advertises your personal information to the world).
Lose the lock. Unless you are carrying gold bullion in your bags, locking them provides little value. But it sure can impede your travels.
Watch your bags. More bags are lost on the ground than in the air, so keep a close eye on your luggage, especially at the airport, in the hotel lobby, and at the curb.
Take a good guide with you. Taking a map, a travel guide, recent news on the country, etc. makes a bulky pack. Take everything you need to know about a country and put it in a book and there you have it: eBizguides!! eBizguides have all you need to know to do business and have fun so you don´t have to worry on carrying anything else.

Travel Tip of the Week

Stay Energized!!!

Gayle Reichler, director of wellness coaching and nutrition services at Exhale Spa, has three helpful tips for business travelers:
Eat every three hours. Eating frequently keeps blood sugar at a steady level. Make sure to eat three balanced and healthful meals a day and snack on nuts, fruit, or yogurt between meals.
Never skip a meal. If you think you won't have time for lunch, order something in advance from room service and take it with you.
Drink six to eight glasses of water a day—not only to stay hydrated, but to avoid eating too much. "Oftentimes when people feel hungry, they're actually thirsty," says Reichler, who recommends drinking even more—preferably 16 ounces every hour—when you are flying, in order to fight jet lag.
Avoid extra caffeine and sweets. Though a Frappuccino will initially give you a boost of energy, it will ultimately send your blood sugar crashing, leaving you even more exhausted than you were before you drank it.
